SuccessI dont have a success story as of yet. I had my tubes untied Nov-04-05 and still have yet to get a positive reading from a pregnancy test. It's getting frusturating, but I dont want to let it get to me so I come here to read some of the other ladies success stories so I know that I'm not alone in the experience.

SuccessStill Trying with Femara and had one IUI that I don't believe worked by how I'm feeling today. I will try again next month. Next month will be my 3rd month of using the Femara. We are using the shettles method, which says to have a girl, have sex 2 to 3 days before ovulation because girl sperm live in the vagina longer. We hope this method works! I once got caught by my parents making out with a guy and got in trouble for that so thats why I never share anything with my mum even thoug she was english and i know she'd understand.. but the point is my period is always late sometimes it even skips a month.. well anyway.. I have had two miscarriges. The first at 5 months on 01-01-01. And the second at 5 weeks 08-17-02. Now, I am pregnant again and am on prometrium and baby aspirin. I was officially 10 weeks yesterday & I really have a good feeling about this one. I've been really sick, so that's a good sign, but it's still hard not to freak out over every little twinge of pain. SuccessAfter nothing happening for more than 5 years, I finally got surprise pg 1 1/2 years ago, with a mc 6 weeks later:( Then last Christmas a friend gave me the charting book, got pg again with a mc 5 weeks later:(!! Just did clomid and IUI combo and it worked the very first time I did it!!! I'm being totally monitored on my Hcg levels and using supplemental progesterone, so hopefully this time it will work out. I had 2 eggs show up on my pre-IUI U/S, so I'm secretly hoping for twins. I'm at 3 weeks, 1 day and counting:) There's hope yet!! Don't give up, and remember to take plenty of breaks between "trying" so you don't drive yourself and spouse crazy:)

A Success StoryGosh, where do I start?! I found this wonderful Webwomb site in July '99 when I started to get worried about not being PG after 7 mos. of TTC. So I bought myself a BBT and borrowed TCOYF from the library and took good notes! We BD'd and took the Robitussin and used the OPK's (and wasted some HPT's!) and read everyone's advice on the Charting Temps BB (it took me about 3 mos. to get the hang of deciphering my temps!) and thankfully we finally hit the jackpot in December of '99 and I am due with baby #2 on Labor Day (9/4) 2000! Actually, the month we succeeded in getting PG I did not BBT. I thought for sure I was PG in Nov. and when I was not, I was really discouraged and decided to put the BBT away for a month and make an appt. with an RE to see what may be our problem TTC again. As luck would have it, DH and I won an all expense paid cruise for a week, which we took the beginning of Dec. I wasn't sure if I would be O'ing while on the cruise since I wasn't charting, (I suspected I might)so I brought the Robitussin along with me, but left the BBT at home. We both had massages around the time I think I O'd, so I don't know if that helped or not, I'm sure being on a relaxing cruise for a week during O time is really what helped us!! We went to the 1st appt. with the RE just before Christmas and I was waiting for AF to show up before seeing the RE again to run some tests and have a HSG. When AF didn't arrive (and I suspected I was late) I decided to take my BBT on a lark. It was 99.0, which gave me the courage to take another HPT (my last one in the house!). It came out ++++ right away, and I actually made DH look at it too to make sure I wasn't seeing things!! Needless to say, we succeeded getting PG on our own after 11 mos. of trying and w/o the help of the RE or the BBT--go figure!! I took the HPT on New Year's Eve morning, so we had a fabulous reason to ring in the New Millenium that night!! For all of you who are still chugging away, TTC, all I can say is, don't give up your dream of becoming mommies, and don't wait too long to seek intervention, if need be. I was sorry I waited 11 mos. before seeing an RE, and am very thankful I didn't need his assistance, but I'm sure my experience is not the norm. Best of luck to you all. My prayers are with you!
A Success StoryMy name is Amy, I have 2 beautiful sons, who just turned 6 and 4. I got pg for a third time in Aug of 98, only to lose it at 6 weeks. Waited 2 cycles and got pg in Nov of 98, everything was going smoothly, however the u/s meaured one week behind...but that was ok, we saw the HB. At 10 weeks I started spotting, went to the ER, found out the baby died at 7.5 weeks,only days after the u/s. Devestated, I thought I could handle no more, Ihad some testing done, turns out i have elevated ACA's and the baby had Turners Syndrom.... My Doc gave me the ok to try again...well after waiting 2 ccyles it worked I was due New Yr Eve! But again, my dreams came crashing to a stop when at 10.5 weeks, there was not HB. I had a D&C.(I had an emergency one with my 2nd m/c). My doc found that my uterus was heart shaped. My boys were at the u/s when we found out the baby died. My 6 yr old who was just 5 at the time said, "Why did God take another baby to heaven, He has enough angels!" and he cried and cried. We had explained with the previous m/c that God Needed our baby to be a special angel. I was numb and so sad, and I decided to stop obessing about babies and just be the best mom to my two boys that I could...we had a wonderful summer and a great fall. Infact I decided to go on BCP until this spring, well lo and behold, Thanksgiving weekend I found out I was pg. I was scared. I went to my DOC and my betas were stronger than they ever were before my first u/s showed the baby to be a day ahead, the last two were a week behind...I contined to do well...at 11 weeks we heard the HB with the doppler, and then at 16 weeks we saw the best level II u/s ever..everything was going great and the baby was a week ahead! I just had my second Level II and the baby looked great! Still a week ahead...and all the organs fine! I am so excited, I do take Baby aspirin once a day and was on prometrium twice a day until 12 weeks. But it is happening, I am so excited to have gotten this far. A Success StoryHi there. We've been TTC one year total. We got pregnant in December of 1998 only to lose it to a miscarriage in February 99. We then got pg again in July 99 only to lose that one in September 99. After much heartache and pain, we are pg again and so far so good. I am 12 1/2 weeks, and we just heard the heartbeat last week. Our fingers are crossed, and we say our prayers daily. As for what we did to conceive, we basically bd'd every day during the fertile days. After TTC for the length we did, it seems that we actually got pg on the exact ovulation day, which for me was day 19. All 3 times, I got pg when we bd'd on that day. I believe we also bd'd in the afternoon or at least by 5 that day. I don't know how long my egg lasts, but I wanted to make sure we got to it before it died off. I did keep my legs in the air for at least 15 minutes after, too. I am thinking those are the 2 most things that worked since I distinctly remember doing that all 3 times we got pregnant. We did use ovulation kits and charting, at least for this last pregnancy. Those helped tremendously, along with all the wonderful girls from Webwomb. I truly could not have done it without any of their support and help. Thank you girls!!!!
