Sorry to hear you're out of the race this month. Don't lose faith. Your time will come just like the rest of us.
I had a cycle once with mid cycle spotting. It only lasted one day and it wasn't very much spotting but it put me into a panic. I called my doctor's office immediately and the nurse told me that it wasn't anything to worry about. I've also had friends tell me that they sometimes have midcycle spotting. If it happened more frequently then I was to call again. It never did. I don't really know the cause. I hope I've helped you at least with the knowledge that this had happened to other people and you don't have to jump into the panic mode just yet.
