I'm so sorry, I really thought you were pg! Don't worry about the spotting, I've heard that is quite common, especially if you're in your 30:ies? What it might be is a little dip in progesterone (doesn't affect pg) that causes a tiny bit of the uterus lining (or whatever it's called) to be pushed out (sorry for the lousy english). But it's nothing to worry about at all, unless it happens every month! Better luck next time!!!!!!!!!! LINN
