Hi Ladies
Just want to make sure that we are all taking the right kind of tussin. Make sure that you are taking the tussin that just says plain old Robitussin, and not the one's that have the letters after it like DH or PE. This is very important because the others have an ingredient called "dextromethorphan" in it and it haven't been proven but stated that this ingredient may, and I sam may, cause birth defects. I read this a long time ago and kind of forgot about it until I was surfing and found a post from someone stating this and low and behold I go look at the gel caps that I was taking and it was on off brand but it did have dextromethorphan in it. So needless to say I ran out and got the right kind. So remember, it's just the plain Robitussin and the box say guaifenesin right on the front but if you look at the ingredients it doesn't have dextromethorphan in it.
Thought that this was important.
